ORGANIZATION CHART

CHAIRMAN

Chairman leads generally for the policies and programs. He is the official spokesman of the Council. He establishes committees and assigns members to committees on which there is no contrary specific provision and assigns new members instead of the members whose term of office is over in the committees which do not have a certain time span.


VICE CHAIRMAN

Vice Chairman fulfils contact duty for committees and is an ex officio member. He submits recommendations to the Chairman and Board of Directors for review and going into action for the continuation, restructuring, formation or alteration of the functions and conditions of council committees.


SECRETARY GENERAL

Secretary General is appointed by the Chairman to fulfil the duties determined by the Council or Board of Directors. He participates in the Council, Board of Directors, other committees and duty forces and all committee debates as well.


ACCOUNTANT

Accountant manages the funds and securities of the Council. He develops procedures for the purchases, investments and expenditures of the Council to fit the policies determined by the Chairman and Board of Directors in line with the recommendations of independent auditors and takes part in the preparation of yearly budgets.


DEPUTY SECRETARY GENERAL 1

Deputy Secretary General 1 is responsible for Academic Activities and International Relations. He ensures that the academic activities and international relations of the council are arranged and executed by means of the personnel in the staff.


DEPUTY SECRETARY GENERAL 2

Deputy Secretary General 2 is responsible for Projects and Protocols and Administrative and Financial Affairs. He ensures that the projects and protocols and administrative and financial affairs of the council are arranged and executed by means of the personnel in the staff.


ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES DEPARTMENT

It carries out the academic studies of the Council. It conducts academic studies on subjects included in the education program of universities and assures the coordination between universities.


INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS DEPARTMENT

It arranges and plans the bilateral and multilateral relations between the universities that are the members of the Council, controls the activities and provides support. It assists in the determination of agenda by holding international meetings.


PROJECT AND PROTOCOL DEPARTMENT

It examines the scientific projects and implements them in company with member universities. It assures coordination in joint projects carried out between the universities and organizations.


ADMINISTRATIVE AND FINANCIAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT

It follows and controls the secretariat services, legal and administrative activities and financial services.
